Job Title: Product Manager – Sports Nutrition
Reports To: VP Business Development – Sports Nutrition
The purpose of the Sports Nutrition Product Manager is to support the development of the company’s product line infrastructure, documentation, and quoting analytics to enable growth and maintain required speed by our sales force and customers. 
Essential Functions:
1. Product Quoting Process Development and Analytics
a. Develop and maintain a quote database with tracking of sales channels and customers.
b. Build out quote models with set parameters as defined by management and distribute to regional/market leadership as required for approval. 
c. Perform analytics of quote activity/pipeline including hit rate and lost reason. Prepare various reports for management on quote process output and results, using SalesForce and other tools. 
d. Follow-up with Account Managers and Customer service on active quotes for status and win/loss reason. 
e. Assist with pricing initiatives such as stock price lists, material adjustments, margin analysis, RFQ pricing models, and other such activities. 
f. Utilize application to load and manage all inside-sales leads and opportunities. 
g. Support and assist in the development of an inside sales department. 
h. Support and assist further developing Salesforce as a Customer Relationship Management tool.

2. Product Line Infrastructure Development
a. Learn, own, and manage product line specifications and BOM’s – bottles, lids, resins, packaging, etc.
b. Develop and maintain a product drawing database including revisions, tolerances, specifications, obsolete, and new product introductions. Streamline delivery of drawings and samples to the customer. 
c. Assist in the development of a mold cross-reference database that matches bottle to mold, compatibility, and duplicates.
d. Assist in the development of an ongoing inventory stocking program for core product lines. 
e. Support inside and outside sales teams with various product information and sample requests. 
f. Assist in the development of sales/commercial initiatives such as a color option sample inventory, new product development activities, samples, pack-out solutions, etc. 
g. Develop and support scale of product lines into new sites and regions. 

3. Project Management:
a. Assist the sales, customer service, and operational teams with key customer projects including but not limited to: custom color requests, packaging changes, material changes, gram weight samples, and test trials. 
b. Work directly with suppliers as required to facilitate customer solutions. 
c. Build out timelines for projects and monitor against schedule baseline.
d. Communicate professionally and effectively directly with customers on projects status and updates.

4. Assist the internal matrix to explore and win new opportunities 
a. Support and work with cross-functional teams (operations, sales leadership, marketing, etc.) to prepare compelling and creatives proposals that Win new business
b. Problem solve to address customer concerns & strategize to bring more value to the customer from Pretium
c. Provide product development and project management support to operations and strategic customers 
d. Resolve issues that need escalation 
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience. 
3-5 years’ experience with proven track record of successfully managing products and projects. Plastic product and packaging (or other manufacturing) industry preferred, but not required.

• Experience using CRM systems – preferred 
• Familiarity with ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, or other(s)
Plant office based with travel up to 25%
