Experienced Facilities Engineer Needed

If you are a passionate Facilities Management Engineer and wants to oversee a 1 Million + Sq. Ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, we have an awesome opportunity! 
We are seeking a degreed facilities engineer to assist in planning, directing, and coordinating activities concerned with the design, re-construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery related to this 90-acre manufacturing facility.


Reporting directly to the Manager of Manufacturing & Facilities Maintenance the position will be responsible for: 
• Participates in projects involving building maintenance, repairs, and improvements including equipment related to compressed air systems, HVAC systems, energy systems, electrical systems and process water systems. Participation includes design, design review, attending meetings, investigating and applying engineering principles.
• Performs inspections and surveillance of outside Contractor work when related to maintaining facilities equipment/building systems.
• Assists in the development and executes requirements related to facilities projects, facilities systems that support production, special projects, construction management and utilization of outside Contractors.
• Provides expertise on matters relating to building code requirements, industry requirements, equipment application, established standards, and regulations.
• Leads the design, installation, and commissioning of plant facilities, plant utilities, and associated control systems.
• Develops, implements and manages a utility plan to ensure an adequate supply of electrical power, compressed air, process water, HVAC, chilled water, etc. 
• Reviews and recommends ways to minimize energy usage so as to operate facilities in a more cost-effective manner.
• Inspects buildings and facilities infrastructure to ascertain their condition and state of readiness. Support this effort by documenting the condition, deficiencies, recommendations and estimated cost of repairs.


• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities engineering preferred.
• Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Access. CAD skills, ability to update engineering drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc., is desired.
