The company we’re partnered with is a privately held contract manufacturer of injection molded plastic parts. Serving over 8 different industries and being one of the most versatile custom plastic parts manufacturers in the U.S, they are 100% employee owned and dedicate their success to their family-oriented employees. 

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor and 3rd Shift Supervisor that will oversee daily production schedules and ensure that inventory levels are managed properly. You could expect to work closely with the Production Manager to ensure the overnight process and delivery of their parts in the molding Production area. 

Essential Functions –

• Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays
• Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays
• Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages.
• Complete maintenance request forms on the repair of machines used in the production process to avoid downtime or delays
• Training of all new operators
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Preferred Experience –

• 2+ years of experience as a lead or supervisor in a plastic injection molding setting.
• 2+ years of hands on plastic injection molding experience in a maintenance or process related function. 
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing requirements and planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving
• Proficient with computerized materials control programs
