We’re searching for a results-oriented Operations Manager to join our client, a leading Tier 1 supplier in the automotive parts manufacturing sector. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for leading the charge in optimizing production processes, exceeding customer expectations, and driving continuous improvement within an injection molding and part assembly environment.
Here’s what you’ll conquer:
- Strategic Leadership: Motivate and empower your team to consistently achieve ambitious production targets and quality benchmarks.
- Operational Expertise: Oversee all aspects of production planning, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of Tier 1 automotive parts.
- Customer Focus: Become a champion for customer satisfaction by fostering strong relationships with key accounts and proactively addressing any concerns.
- Quality & Compliance: Implement and uphold rigorous quality control measures, ensuring adherence to ISO standards and industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement, spearhead lean manufacturing initiatives, and drive a culture of innovation within your team.
- Safety First: Prioritize a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular training sessions, and fostering a culture of accident prevention.
To excel in this role, you’ll possess:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume, Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturing environment, preferably with injection molding and assembly expertise.
- Proven track record of success in leading and motivating teams to achieve production goals and quality objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and senior management.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and a proactive approach to creating a safe and healthy work environment.
- In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles and a passion for continuous improvement.
