Process Engineer Needed for Plastic Injection Molding Plant in Indiana
The company is a privately held plastics manufacturer of small to large aesthetic injection molded components for the automotive, medical, consumer and industrial markets. Core capabilities include injection molding, structural foam molding, gas assist and gas counter pressure molding, finishing, painting, EMI shielding, assembly, and graphics. The company has asked our team to recruit an experienced Process Engineer for their operation in the South Bend, IN area.
A qualified candidate will have:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· Three (3+) plus years of experience in a Process Engineering role in a plastic injection molding operation
· Experience managing all process engineering functions and activities of technical staff to maintain timely and complete processing of projects and daily problem-solving activities
· Experience establishing standard practices for process engineering activities, including problem solving and documentation
· Experience aiding all departments with plant technical communication and technical support, as well as providing technicians with clear communication and training to improve process techniques
· Experience with the IATF 16949 quality system
· Experience with the launch of new products and programs
